Get a Student License

STOP! Are you a VCU student and employee / student worker?
If you are a VCU student who is currently-enrolled in at least 1 credit-bearing course AND you are also a VCU employee (including student workers, work study, graduate assistants, and other student job codes), you need to follow a different set of instructions before you can claim a VCU Adobe Creative Cloud student subscription.
First, you will need to complete the VCU Adobe Cloud Access Request form located at https://go.vcu.edu/adobe/cloudaccess. ALL VCU employees (even student employees) MUST complete this form before being provided with additional instructions for claiming a VCU Adobe Creative Cloud student subscription.
You will need to be signed-in to your VCU Google Workspace account ("yourEID@vcu.edu"). If you sign-in to a personal Gmail account, this form will not allow you to continue. You MUST first sign-out of all other personal, non-VCU Google accounts and ONLY sign-in to your VCU Google Workspace account ("yourEID@vcu.edu") to complete this form.
If you need further assistance, please submit a ticket by visiting https://itsupport.vcu.edu and clicking on the "New IT Support Ticket" box; you will need to search for "Adobe Software" or navigate to Teaching & Learning > Instructional Resources > Adobe Software to select the correct category to submit your ticket.

If you are NOT a VCU employee and only a VCU student, please visit https://vcu.onthehub.com and sign-in with your VCU eID to claim a VCU Adobe Creative Cloud student subscription.
Important Note: Adobe Creative Cloud may be installed on multiple computers but may only be used on one device at a time. You must use your VCU Adobe account which relies on your VCU eID email address sign-in to access Adobe Creative Cloud apps and features. |
Step 1 - Visit https://vcu.onthehub.com.
Step 2 - You will be redirected to the VCU Central Authentication Service (CAS) portal; Enter your VCU eID and password.
Step 3 - Select the Adobe Creative Cloud option from the menu.
Step 4 - Add the appropriate Adobe Creative Cloud to your cart.
Step 5 - Once you have completed the checkout process, click Install to download the latest version of Adobe Creative Cloud installer to your device.
Step 6 - Run the downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud installer on your device.
Step 7 - Sign-in with your VCU eID email account ("yourEID@vcu.edu").
Step 8 - If you are prompted, select the Company/School Account option.
Step 9 - When you reach the VCU Central Authentication Service (CAS) portal, complete the sign-in process using your VCU eID and password.
Reminder: If you already have a license purchased from Adobe, contact the VCU IT Support Center to receive instructions on how to terminate your personal Adobe agreement. Afterward, you can obtain a VCU student subscription through https://vcu.onthehub.com. |
